ERIC WELCH, OWNER & CEO
Eric Welch created The Amazing Kid Company with the sole purpose of finding the gold that lives inside each child that he comes in contact with and bringing that “specialness” out, and shared with the world. Eric spent eleven years as an artist with The Imagination Workshop (the last five years as the Artistic Director) where he worked artistically hand in hand with people who suffer from mental illness (Neuropsychiatric Institute @ UCLA), kids from the inner city of Los Angeles and Homeless Veterans. Eric was an educator at Tree People, was a founding member of Inside Out Community Arts and spent two years as an actor on Life Goes On.
Eric’s passion and single minded focus for giving kids the “best day of their life” and his commitment to finding the best “kid people” in L.A. has laid the groundwork for the amazing success of the best kid’s entertainment company around.

Max has been with the Amazing Kid Company since Summer of 2009. He came to us with a bag of tricks that he picked up at Juilliard where he got his BFA in Theatre and The Uprights Citizen Brigade where he learned Improvisation. Max has many years of experience working with children from his extensive work with ASTEP, Artist Striving To End Poverty in New York, where he taught and coordinated Arts summer camps for Middle and High School kids in the under served community of Homestead Florida. He has also taught theatre to kids at a musical theatre camp in Shenzhen, China, as well as Costa Rica, New York and New Orleans, shortly after Hurricane Katrina. All his experience has made him a master at improvisation. He uses his improve skills at parties where he is able to change his approach depending on the kids and the situation that gets thrown at him.
Billy Minogue reigns from New Roads, a small Southern town in Louisiana, where he was drawn to working with children at the age of 14. He began his work teaching children how to live with Dyslexia and AADA. After high school Billy joined the USAF where he would go on to learn invaluable leadership and teamwork skills that he uses to this day teaching people that working together is better than trying to do it alone. After being Honorably discharged from the Air Force he moved out west to pursue his Artistic desires. Shortly after arriving in Los Angeles the powers that be would bring Billy and Mentor Eric Welch together. Here is where a universal bond and long time mentorship would begin. Starting in “The Imagination Workshop” Billy would learn the subtle delicacies of care and nurturing. Working with inner city children, Adults and children on the spectrum, impoverished kids, Veterans, and the Forensically insane, Billy learned the importance of compassion in a forever changing world that needs Love and understanding. Shortly after beginning his work with the Imagination Workshop Eric invited Billy to join the Amazing Kid Company Family and the rest is history. A decade and a Million smiles later Billy is still at it bringing Compassion and Fun to the masses.
